HOLLYWOOD (Variety) - Gabrielle Union, currently starring in the Screen Gems romance ``The Brothers'' has nabbed back-to-back roles in Section Eight and Pandora's feature ``Welcome to Collinwood'' and in ``Abandon'' for Paramount.
Union, who recently completed a guest spot on ''Friends,'' is expected to join Katie Holmes and Benjamin Bratt on the ``Abandon'' set after wrapping ``Collinwood,'' which begins lensing in Cleveland in mid-April.
``Collinwood,'' directed by Ohio-based filmmakers Anthony and Joe Russo, stars George Clooney, Isaiah Washington, Luis Guzman, Jennifer Esposito and Sam Rockwell. Clooney and Steven Soderbergh co-produce. Union will play the blind younger sister of Washington.
The actress, who had a brief run last fall in the Steven Bochco CBS drama medical ``City of Angels,'' is currently lensing the TV pilot ``Close to Home `` for Fox.
